Applications to join our (dream!) team are always extremely welcome. We are always excited to hear from talented and enthusiastic MChem, MRes, PhD and PDRA candidates. MChem and MRes Studentships

Andy typically supervises three to four MChem students each year, as well as one or two MRes students from the CSCT. These projects involve a wide range of topics and generally include the synthesis and characterisation of new inorganic compounds, with a focus on their application to materials chemistry. Contact Andy by email to discuss available research areas.

PhD Studentships

Studentships are typically advertised on the departmental web page, but if you are interested in what we do contact Andy directly. Applications from overseas PhD candidates are very welcome. These applicants generally need to secure scholarships to fund their studies in Bath.
